Hino Delivers 35 RM 280 ABS Buses to Bagong Transport at GIIAS 2025. “Hino’s Commitment to Providing Comfort and Reliability for Tourism Transportation”

PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) held a handover ceremony for the Hino RM 280 ABS bus unit to the renowned bus company from Malang, PT Bagong Dekaka Makmur (Bagong Transport) Blue Tourism Division, as part of the GIIAS 2025 automotive exhibition held at ICE BSD, Tangerang. The handover of the unit was conducted directly by Takashi Muto, President Director of HMSI, to Budi Susilo, Director and owner of Bagong Transport. Additionally, the ceremony was witnessed by representatives from PT Bagong Dekaka Makmur who travelled directly from Malang, East Java, and representatives from the Bagong Mania community, a group of loyal and active bus enthusiasts known for their support of Bagong Transport's operational activities and reputation. The event, held at the Hino booth, symbolises the long-term partnership between Hino and Bagong Transport, which has entrusted its entire fleet of tourist buses to Hino buses. During the ceremony, Hino symbolically handed over a Hino RM 280 ABS bus with a body from Karoseri Tentrem Avante H8 Grand Captain in Laguna Green, part of the total 35 units purchased by Bagong Transport. This bus will be used to support the growing tourism service needs in the East Java region and its surroundings.

"We chose Hino because its buses are proven to be strong, durable, and comfortable for long-distance travel. For us, passenger comfort is a priority, and Hino meets all of our requirements" said Budi Susilo, Director of Bagong Transport.

The Hino Bus RM 280 ABS is equipped with a 6-cylinder J08E-WD engine that produces 285 PS at 2,500 rpm, meeting Euro 4 emission standards. Additionally, the Hino RM 280 ABS buses used by Bagong Transport are fitted with an ABS braking system, ensuring optimal safety for passengers. With air suspension and a space frame chassis, it offers comfort and supports operational efficiency due to its spacious luggage compartment that extends from the right to the left side, making the RM 280 ABS ideal as a long-distance fleet for tourist buses or AKAP (intercity and intercity passenger transport).

In addition, Hino also provides Total Support services to its loyal customers through an extensive aftersales network, including dealer outlets spread across Indonesia, the availability of high-quality spare parts, and driver and mechanic training through the Hino Indonesia Academy to improve safety and efficiency in the field.

“We are delighted to continue being trusted by Bagong Transport, one of our customers who has grown alongside Hino. This handover is a clear demonstration of how Hino is committed to supporting our customers’ businesses comprehensively, from reliable products to convenient after-sales services,” said Takashi Muto, President Director of HMSI.

With the theme “Hino for Indonesia – Together Towards the Future,” Hino is not only focused on vehicles but also on building an efficient and sustainable transportation ecosystem in collaboration with businesses. This handover ceremony is also part of Hino’s booth activities at GIIAS 2025, which this year features various transportation solutions for customers across Indonesia.
